Rain Vessel

Rain Vessel brings rainwater collection and treatment into view. We built the installation for Dutch Design Week 2026, with an open timber frame and seating beside the water system.

Inside Rain Vessel

Water passes through visible layers of sand, gravel and charcoal. A pump circulates it through the installation, which includes a Sensiblue electro-chlorination unit.

Timber modules support the tanks and equipment. Reused beer crates and small tables make room for visitors to sit beside the system.
